It’s your decision

October 16, 2012

By Jean-wisly Simon

AT QC, we look at the issues and analyze the policy maker’s eventual reasoning. We are not in the business of giving news but scrutinizing them. We present the facts to you, and only you have to decide what to do with them.

USA elections: Responsibility, responsibility and responsibility in November 2012”; this article was posted on October 2, 2012. In this piece, the objective was giving ‘the importance of the first presidential debate’ after showing what would have been the main goal of each candidate. Then we asked, “Who’s going to make the first mistake?”

Before the last paragraph, we predicted what each candidate could do in order to stay relevant to the American people’s needs. When we said, We expect Wednesday’s debate to be persuasive and civil. The reasons are that the President will have to defend his administration strategies (inside an outside US) and take responsibility as the commander in chief. On the other hand, Governor Romney will, for the first time, have to show the American people he has the ability to be the leader of the free world and the commander in chief by painting a different picture. Yet, President Obama, in short and specific cases, must show why he asks for a second term to finish the job with or without adjustment (most likely with adjustments a way to say mistakes were made and he had learned from them). In contrast, Governor Romney would have the privilege to demonstrate in details why he’s the guy to hire for the President Job this time.”

You all knew already President Obama did not accomplish what his supporters had expected him to do. Therefore, tonight is the night for him to take charge in front of the camera in a town hall “presidential debate”. For the democrats, the Secretary of State, Mrs. Clinton seemed to give a hint about the scheme that Mr. Obama would develop tonight while she took full responsibility for what happened in Libya on 9/11/12. Mr. Romney would want to keep his momentum by contrasting Mr. Obama’s policies and his.

The American people admire a strong leader. Do you remember what Ronald Reagan did when the “Iran/Contra affair” broke out in DC? Do not say you already forget what Bill Clinton did when the “Monika Lewinsky Scandal” exploded in Washington DC and became a world affair?

If you forget what the Presidents did, we can remind you. They went straight in front of the camera and took full responsibility. The country did not experience anything of that magnitude (like the scandals mentioned above) under the Obama administration; however, due to the belligerent political environment in Washington the President has to show he is in charge in Washington DC and asks for another four years to finish the job. Mr. Romney’s objective has not changed; he must continue to show why the American people need to fire the President.

Every four years Americans elect their leader. Each election is different because the challenges are not always the same. The world is not what it was four years ago; even America is not what it was four years ago. For instance, America did not have a “Health Care law” four years ago. American soldiers were deeply involved in a war in Iraq four years ago. The list can go on and on…

After all has been said and done. It’s up to you to pick the next President of the United States of America. You need to vote!

We’ll be back.
