Early voting, Obama up!

News updated: About 10 days left, we encourage you to vote as soon as you can. Remember to vote! Early voting in Florida starts today. You can see more details, “Florida’s Voters Registration Statistics” by Michael Cooper.
As of today October 26, 2012, what has been done as far as voting is concerned? Actually, we learn that people have been going to the polling stations around the country to take advantage of early voting in the states.
Apparently, as much as 40% of voters already cast their ballots. According to Reuters, “Obama leads Romney 54 percent to 39 percent among voters who already have cast ballots, according to Reuters/Ipsos polling data compiled in recent weeks. The sample size of early voters is 960 people with a credibility interval of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.” For more details see “Up to 40 percent may vote early in U.S. election; Obama ahead
Meanwhile, hurricane Sandy(Quest serious weather alert) who killed more than 15 people in the Caribbean may also disturb the November 6 election in US. As Sandy is approaching the East coast of US, consequently, we learn the candidates and their surrogates have made changes in their schedules…
We have discussed the importance of the swing states in this election. It is not a secret, the two presidential candidates have been working hard to get the voters vote in Florida, Wisconsin, Iowa, New Hampshire, Colorado, Nevada, Virginia, North Carolina and, of course, Ohio. But when we take apart the Electoral College map, it looks like President Obama has an edge over Governor Romney.
One of the reason for that assumption is Mr. Romney must win almost all those states to be elected on November 6. In contrast, Mr. Obama needs to win just a few; except he cannot afford to lose Florida and Ohio. By the way, CNN just published,”CNN Poll: Obama 50%-Romney 46% in Ohio”
This race is a challenge for both men in this election. However, if the race stays as is, President Obama would be reelected on November 6. Governor Romney’s momentum had stopped. We, as always, want you to see all the details (state by state), “Oct. 25: The State of the States”
