Obama would be back sooner in Washington for fiscal cliff deal!

U.S. President Obama speaks about the fiscal cliff at the White House in Washington

With the end of the year approaches so does the fiscal cliff, Congress and President Obama went on vacation last Friday. QC had learned both sides did not  really chat about any deal since then. Nonetheless, Democrats appear to have a deal in the making to avoid the crisis.

Now, QuestCinq has learned that President Obama could cut his vacation to come back to Washington in order to work with his fellow democrats on a fiscal cliff deal…

Will they negotiate a deal with the Republican Congress by 12/31/12?

“…As the clock ticks toward a January 1 deadline, negotiations to avert a sharp rise in taxes and deep spending cuts have stalled, worrying world financial markets.

Obama and congressional lawmakers left Washington on Friday for the Christmas holidays with talks to avert the fiscal disaster in limbo.

When Obama returns, probably early on Thursday, the focus will shift to the U.S. Senate after Republicans in the House of Representatives failed to pass their own budget measures last week…”
