Michel J. Martelly has been living in the National Palace of Haiti since May 14, 2011. To celebrate his second anniversary as the President of Haiti, many parties were held all over the country…
Surprisingly, a Haitian Depute (equivalent of a US House of Representative) got all the attention after kneeing before the President, according to him to show his gratitude (in Port au Prince) for the government achievements in his “circonscription” or constituency: Luckner Noël (from Nord’Est, Ouanaminthe) is his name!
Shouldn’t he go to church if he wanted to pray that much? There is nothing wrong with being grateful to someone; however, a minimum protocol is a must…
This picture has put him on the front page…embarrassed some legislators tried to disassociate themselves…while others would like to diffuse the situation.
In the meantime, the picture which we share with you continues the celebration with Haitian political commentators.
