-Le coup de théâtre de Silvio Berlusconi, qui a, contre toute attente, dû se résoudre, mercredi 2 octobre, à voter la confiance au gouvernement, a provoqué une avalanche de réactions dans la presse italienne.

“Tout un monde s’écroule”, résumait ainsi La Repubblica, après la dernière pirouette du “Cavaliere”, qui avait tenté le tout pour le tout afin de conserver son poste de sénateur et son immunité parlementaire. Après avoir réussi à décider cinq ministres de son Parti de la liberté (PDL) à démissionner du gouvernement samedi, celui-ci n’est pas parvenu à convaincre une majorité de ses troupes de refuser la confiance à Enrico Letta. Le quotidien Il Fatto voyait là le signe d’un “parti qui refuse de suivre son chef dans sa fureur destructrice”. C’est ainsi que, mercredi matin, Berlusconi a finalement appelé à voter la confiance au gouvernement qu’il avait tout fait, jusqu’ici, pour faire tomber…(Lire)
