Des centaines de personnes assistent au service funéraire de Duvalier

Des centaines de personnes faisaient la queue samedi matin, à l’extérieur d’une chapelle pour assister au service funéraire de l’ex-dictateur haïtien Jean-Claude Duvalier.

Les gens se recueillaient devant le cercueil couvert d’un drapeau, avant d’offrir leurs condoléances à la conjointe du défunt, Véronique Roy, à son ex-femme, Michèle Bennett et leurs deux enfants.

Le service avait lieu dans la chapelle de l’école Saint-Louis de Gonzague, à Port-au-Prince.

Des représentants du président, Michel Martelly, et du premier ministre, Laurent Lamothe, ont visité la chapelle, les deux chefs étant présentement en mission à l’extérieur du pays.
