President Obama

Tea Party Candidate “Allen West” wants his seat even after voters said NO!

Murphy

Here is how Palm Beach Post describes the ongoing situation: Patrick Murphy’s campaign declared victory this afternoon in his race for Congress against U.S. Rep. Allen West, in which final — but uncertified — totals from St. Lucie County elections officials showed him finishing with 50.16 percent of the vote. West’s camp, however, said it has no intention of conceding and that Gov. Rick Scott and Secretary of State Ken Detzner “will have to take a look at these recounts,” West campaign manager Tim Edson said. The St. Lucie County Canvassing Board missed its noon deadline to file election results…

Going off the ‘cliff’ won’t kill job growth!

A man with a local group "Tax-Us" holds a sign during a rally in San Francisco

November 08, 2012 – Allowing income tax rates to rise for wealthy Americans, and maintaining rates for the less affluent, would not hurt U.S. economic growth much in 2013, the Congressional Budget Office said on Thursday, stepping into a dispute between Republicans and Democrats over how to resolve the so-called “fiscal cliff.” The report by the authoritative non-partisan arm of Congress is expected to fuel President Barack Obama’s demand for higher taxes on the rich, part of his proposal to avoid the full impact of the expiring tax cuts and across-the-board spending reductions set to begin in early 2013 unless…
